About
Adirondack
Safaris
| Offering
four-season wilderness experiences to people of all ages and abilities
is what Adirondack Safaris is all about. Judith Harper, naturalist and
New York State Licensed Guide #4839, knows trails and backwoods regions
that will delight and challenge veteran backpackers as well as
birdwatchers, casual walkers, families with children of all ages, and
the disabled.

But
going on a safari with Judith is not only about hiking through the
wilderness or reaching a mountain peak. The essence of the Adirondack
Safari experience is to become immersed in a new knowledge and
understanding of the plants, wildlife, and landscape that abound in the
Adirondack
Park
.
Today
the natural world is constantly threatened by habitat destruction and
the consequences of rapid climate change. Because of these facts, Judith
sought to create a way for people to become intimately familiar with
wilderness, so that they may become advocates of it as well as activists
for open space in their home communities.
